VIENNA, April 26. We have just celebrated the marriage, or rather the remarriage, of Michel Neuwirth, aged 81, and Sophie Reissner, aged 77, his ex-wife, from whom he had been divorced for 50 years!

The remarried people of yesterday had already married in 1864. After ten years of union, Michel disappeared and was found in a household... He had gone to live with his wife's sister.

The divorce took place and Sophie remarried. She lived with her second husband for 42 years. When he died, her first husband, also a widower, came to offer her the chance to forget the past...

And the old divorced spouses remarried!
