The Flat Iron
It's not the tallest skyscraper in New York, but it's certainly the most picturesque. This “sky scraper” is a true marvel of ingenuity and audacity. Remember that for the narrowest facade, it does not quite reach 28 meters, the “Flat Iron” does not measure more than 60 meters in length. And its height is slightly more than 100 meters, that is to say two and a half times the Arc de Triomphe!
This curious document taken by an operator who did not fear stiff neck, gives a fairly accurate impression of this famous skyscraper, which, although it is not the highest (the Singer building measures 146 meters) is certainly the highest weird.
