the greatest contemporary French writer, Anatole France, has just reached his eightieth year. on this occasion, a grandiose demonstration was organized, in which a number of literati and a crowd of admirers took part.

03 - The Theater
a new play, with nasturtiums, allows us to applaud the delicious actress Maud Loty, whose fantasy is unrivaled, in the role of a young bride.

04 - In memory of bombed Paris
a plaque was inaugurated on rue de Rivoli commemorating the bombing of Paris in 1918. Mr. Naudin (1), prefect of police, and Mr. Julliard (3), prefect of the Seine, presided over the ceremony which took place with simplicity, in the pouring rain.

05 - on the occasion of the trip to Paris by the sovereigns of Romania, a major aeronautical festival took place at Le Bourget, here is an overview of the airport before the departure of the military planes,

06 - the horse show ends each year with outdoor events which take place in Bagatelle. Very nice horse racing is practiced there, as demonstrated by this elegant show jumping.

07 - in rugby, at the Parc des Princes, the selected Paris team beats, asserting especially through its rear, a clear superiority, the French army, by 16 points (4 tries and 2 toes), has 8 (2 tries and 1 goal).
