“The Intermediary of the Seekers and the Curious” poses an interesting question:
In November 1790, on the night of the 30th, at two o'clock in the morning, the hearts of Louis XIII and Louis XIV were transported to the old mother house of the Jesuits. But some time later, this house was sold as national property and demolished. What became of the hearts of these two kings?
We already know where Voltaire's is. Will we find researchers of good will to save us from a cruel anguish about the other two?
