Washington, 14th May. Senator Borah, who, after being one of the most bitter opponents of the Treaty of Versailles, was one of the champions of the policy of non-intervention by the United States in European affairs, declared that the victory of French Socialism would lead the United States to adopt a tolerant and constructive foreign policy.
