The most beautiful success crowned the interesting event organized Sunday morning by the Moto-Club de Cannes (Section M.C.N.), on the occasion of the annual Saint-Constant festival. A large audience followed the evolutions of the different vehicles which were impressive on the beautiful road leading to the Logis du Pin.

The departures were given at the exit of Saint-Vallier. The course included 5 kilometers of the beautiful road which leads to the Logis du Pin; not too steep a slope and very wide bends. Also, we recorded good times achieved by the motorcyclists and cyclecarists of the region.

The best time of the day went to the bold pilot Dawson who, aboard his 500 cm3, climbed the hill at an average of 73 kilometers. Let us warmly congratulate him for his victory, which he acquired with the greatest mastery.

Behind Dawson, Auzello came second in the standings, with a 1,000 cm3. In the other categories, we should mention the victories of: Sartorio, Perrino, Louis Pache, Berton, Senestro, Guizol, Serre, Antofage, Burle, Bompard, etc.

The president of the Moto-Club de Nice, Mr. Verdy, had a very good race until a few hundred meters from the finish, where an unfortunate breakdown considerably delayed his progress... which did not prevent him from winning his 1,000 cm3 sidecar category.

A gymkhana and various very interesting events took place in the afternoon in the Saint-Vallier meadow and completed the program of this day for which we congratulate the M.C. of Cannes.

We must congratulate the leaders and members of the Moto-Clubs of the region, who ensured the starts and the timing at the start and finish: MM. Nouveau, president of the Cannes MC; Verdy, president of the Nice MC; Bompard, president of the Grasse MC; Guillermet and Pélissier, timekeepers; Mmes Nouveau, Philibillin, Raffini, etc.

Let us not forget to congratulate and thank the security service, perfectly led by the Saint-Vallier gendarmerie.
