L'Olympique de Marseille today plays Ass Sp. Française at the Stade Elisabeth

The season has barely begun and already the great football teams are measuring themselves against each other. Olympique de Marseille, the glorious winner of the Coupe de France, is opposed today, at the Stade Elisabeth, to the A.S.F. Friendly match, but nevertheless of great importance, the Marseillais wanting above all to win.
Their team which has undergone some modifications since last year still seems formidable for the best and it is certain that they will be keen to prove, by a very clear result, their superiority.
The A.S.F. for its part will hold in its hands the flag of Parisian football; moreover, this club, after several years of eclipse, seems ready to regain the first rank that it formerly occupied in football.
Its defense is of the safest; Buffet in the woods, Capelle and Esnavant in the backs, will do everything to avoid being pierced by the famous Marseille forward line which, with Devaquez, Boyer and Crut, seems to be the main force of this team.
We think that Marseille will win, but we can be sure that the Aésifistes will do everything to keep them in check.
