A Faculty of Cuisine
We have received the following letter that all our gourmet readers and God knows there are many of them will surely read with pleasure. It will inform them of an interesting creation and reveal to them an unusual "commis-saucier", who could invoke other titles.
Dear Director and friend,
I bring you enchanting news: Our Charles Brun, will applaud "The regionalism of the fork", under the effective presidency of the Chef of Chefs, or king of cooks, the illustrious Master-Queux, our collaborator A. Escoffier. The celebration will take place on September 29, the last Monday of the month. All classes will take place "between three and five o'clock, where the cooks find some freedom, in the large amphitheater of the Institute of Food Hygiene, which, by the benevolent friendship of the scholars who direct it, is made available to Gastiréa for the creation of its Faculty of Cuisine. Because the Faculty of Cooking becomes a reality, regular courses will be given, from the first week of October, by doctors, chemists, food officers, and hotel managers, happy to join forces for the glory of the Muse Gastiréa.
