The opening of the trotting season took place yesterday, at the Vincennes racecourse, where the new stands, built by the Société du Demi-Sang, were a great success. The Prix de Vincennes (125,000 francs) brought together eight starters. The Olry-Roederer stable, represented in the event by three horses, won the prize with the victory of its favorite, Vaudesincourt.
