APPEAL FOR CHARITY TO THE AFICIONADOS FOR THE FAMILY OF THE RAZETEUR MELETTE

The tragic end of the razeteur Melette, mortally wounded in the arenas of Graveson, by the bull "Le Bando", left his widow, sick, and his two young children, in a most precarious situation.
We had thought of organizing a free race for the benefit of this family, but the advanced season obliges us to postpone these projects until next spring.
After a visit to the widow, the need to provide for the needs of this family authorizes us to ask the aficionados of the region to have a charitable gesture to bring them a little relief.
Although the comrades of the late Melette have already gathered some help, we appeal to all generous hearts, to all the bullfighting clubs and southern societies to send us their contribution.
The subscription will remain open until December 10, and the list of donors will be published at that time.
