The Photo-Artistic-Club organized its first post-war outing last Sunday and inaugurated the start of its first photography competition. It was a lovely day for all who took part. We went to Cagnes, Villeneuve-Loubet, to Parc Saint-Donat and finally to Saint-Paul, where the banquet took place at the Hostellerie de la Colombe d'Or, which Mr. Roux, the friendly man, manages with so much competence. owner. It was served on the terrace, from where the view is truly unique. The guests paid the greatest honor to the delicately prepared dishes, which earned Mr. Roux sincere congratulations. For dessert... no speeches! We got up from the table and until around 4 o'clock we visited the picturesque village of Saint-Paul. During the excursion, which returned via Vence, several photographs were taken by members of the Club. Here are a few. The author wishes to remain anonymous. In due time, we will publish more, with the competition only ending on August 1st. Remember that the Photo-Artistic-Club, whose headquarters is located at 20, rue Saint-François-de-Paule, aims to develop the art of amateur photography. For the modest sum of 20 francs per year, amateur photographers have, at headquarters, an installation workshop with equipment at their disposal. |
