The New York Democratic Convention NEW YORK, June 28. It is believed that the candidate who could be nominated by the Democrats would be Mr. Ralston, senator from Indiana. He is neither for the Ku-Klux-Klan, nor for the League of Nations, nor for prohibition. It would be accepted by all elements of the party as the only way out of an impasse. This would be an admission that Democrats have no hope of winning the election. |
