Seaplanes APPROVED RECORDS
The Sporting Commission of the Aero Club de France has approved the following records for Class C bis aircraft (seaplanes): - Altitude record with a payload of 2,000 kilograms, set on May 10, 1925, by Lieutenant Aubert, in Bizerte, at 2,874 meters, on a Goliath floatplane powered by two 360 hp Jupiter engines. - Altitude record with a payload of 1,500 kilograms, set on May 10, 1925, by Lieutenant Aubert, in Bizerte, at 2,874 meters, on the same aircraft. - Altitude record with a 1,500 kilo payload, beaten by Lieutenant de vaisseau Paris on May 27, 1925, at 3,555 m, on a Goliath Farman 60, floats, and two 380 hp Jupiter engines (at Bizerte).
