 The Olympic Games deficit of 1,228,901.66 tr. was covered by the insurance companies
We know that, in order to establish the fair balance of its budget, the French Olympic Committee had contacted a consortium of thirteen insurance companies which had agreed to guarantee a minimum of revenue.
This minimum was not reached, and, after checking the operations of the organizing committee, the insurers honored their signature and have just paid the difference between the actual revenue and the guaranteed minimum. This difference amounts to the sum of 1,228,901.66 fr. The Olympic Committee will thus be able to settle its accounts definitively. |
