A French Giant, pictured, Eugène ArceauA FRENCH GIANT

It is commonly said that the French are not very tall. Here is one who is touring the world and is 2.35 meters tall. His name is Eugène Arceau and he was born in Vendée. His glove size is No. 15, his shoe size is No. 62. To sleep comfortably, he needs a bed about 3 meters long. His growth has remained an enigma to science; it was accomplished during sleep. Each morning, when he woke up, he grew about ten centimeters. Fortunately, he did not continue.

Others, who are too big for us, and always with Eugene, we find John Van Albert, Lofty in intimacy, the giant Winkelmeir, the giant Hugo (nothing in common with the poet) and Lady Aana.
