A KIND JOKE

Mr. Justin Godard is a kind minister, smiling and, like any Frenchman, gallant with the ladies. Sometimes he jokes in the most perfect tone of politeness with the young ladies who work around him, in his ministry. From there to claiming that he was showing himself to be enterprising, malignity quickly crossed the line.
This is why evil tongues no longer call the young typists of the rue de Grenelle anything but "the sluts of Dr. Justin!"
And Mr. Justin Godard is the first to laugh at this witticism.
