THE PARIS-CONGO MISSION ITINERARY

BUC, January 17. The fog that generally reigns over France has caused the departure of the air mission from Paris to Lake Chad to be postponed again.
However, around eleven o'clock, a clearing allowed a flight to be foreseen around noon. Immediately, having been notified, Mr. Laurent Eynac, Under-Secretary of State for Aeronautics, and General Gouraud, Military Governor of Paris, joined Buc.
But Colonel Vuillemain, having made a new survey flight aboard a two-seater, landed around one o'clock, declaring that the visibility was too imperfect to allow the departure today.
It should not be forgotten, in fact, that this is in no way a raid and that the Paris-Lake Chad hike is undertaken for a study trip, which must be carried out in the best possible conditions.
