Two houses collapse in Bordeaux

Bordeaux, October 17. Two houses located at 42 and 44 rue des Vignes collapsed due to their dilapidation. The destroyed buildings housed a large number of families, most of whom were at work at the time of the accident.
Only Ms. Dubroc was injured in the right arm and right leg. Children belonging to tenants received minor bruises. Two rescuers, MM. Blergeau and Calle were slightly injured.
The injured were treated in a nearby house. The children were hospitalized at Children's Hospital.
The destroyed houses mostly belonged to the City which, on different occasions, had invited the tenants to look for other accommodation. But they, not having found any, remained on rue des Vignes.
Measures have been taken to consolidate the walls of neighboring houses and remove the collapsed materials, which stand up to 4 meters high
