An injured person waits three-quarters of an hour for an ambulance to arrive

We are informed that yesterday, on Quai de Bercy, in Charenton, a worker hit by a motor truck, seriously injured in the head and with a broken leg, had to wait for forty-seven minutes, lying on the sidewalk, for someone to take care of transporting him to the hospital.
The injured man was apparently at fault for having been knocked down 200 meters from the barrier, which complicated the administrative formalities for sending an ambulance from the City of Paris.
It seems essential to us that an investigation be opened into such negligence on the part of the responsible services.
