ABOUT THE OLYMPIC GAMES Mr. Hector Molinié, deputy for Seine, sent to Mr. Le Trocquer a new protest against the particularities of the train service which goes from Saint-Lazare station to the Colombes Olympic Games stadium. It draws the attention of the Minister of Public Works in particular to the following points: 1° Normal service is interrupted for three hours per day in the afternoon 2° During these hours, any traveler who wishes to go to Colombes-ville is considered to be going to Colombes-stade and is obliged to pay 5 francs instead of 1 fr. 85. normal rate; 3° During these same hours, all level crossing barriers are closed, thus completely preventing traffic in the town of Colombes, on both sides of the track. |
