Appointment of the High Commissioner of the French Republic in Syria, Major General Sarrail

The President of the French Republic,

On the proposal of the President of the Council, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of War,

Decrees:

Art. 1. Major General Sarrail is appointed High Commissioner of the French Republic in Syria.

Art. 2. Major General Sarrail is appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Levant Army.

Art. 3 The President of the Council, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of War are responsible, each in his own area, for the execution of this decree.
