Pierre Benoit at Guignol

The skilled and renowned Bellevillois director, Mr. Jean Durand, has just shot the first scene of the film "Giant's Causeway," based on the famous novel by Pierre Benoit, at our friend Gaston Cony's "Guignol de Paris."
This beautiful film stars Ms. Helbling, Ms. Yanova, and Mr. Tallier and Mr. Philippe Hériat. It features extensive staging.
Mr. Jean Durand is assisted by Mr. Agnel, the talented director of photography, and his devoted collaborators, Mr. Guillemin and Mr. Colas.
The director is Mr. Marcel Marceau, and the friendly and delightful Bellevillois artist, Léo Pollos, is the troupe's general manager.
All the children of Buttes-Chaumont participated in this scene, for which Gaston Cony created amusing images with his marionettes. Next October, we'll see "Giant's Causeway" on our local screens, and we're sure there'll be crowds to applaud it.
