WITH THE SCISSORS... The Bautzen District Court in Germany has just issued a very interesting decision regarding case law in radio matters. It ruled that landlords could not object to their tenants installing an antenna on the roof of the building they occupy, provided, of course, that all necessary precautions have been observed. Among the grounds, the argument is that the wireless receiver has become as commonly used as a telephone, for example, and that, consequently, no one could be discouraged from using it. Another ground observes that a properly installed radio installation cannot present any particular danger. (La Revue des Téléphones, Télégraphes et T.S.F.) |
