 Pensées rosses by René Virard

ROUGH THOUGHTS

  • You can't break with everything when you owe something to everyone.
  • I would like to be a woman for a week... so I don't have to shave three times
  • Reflection distorts a thought.
  • I never argue. When I have something to say, I write it down.
  • Why talk? It is much more profitable for me to listen to the imbecilities of others.
  • It is obvious that the day the taxman asks me to declare my income as a man of letters, I will laugh in their face!
  • A certain author becomes so-called senile as soon as he begins to move away from our ideas.
  • Not everything that is noted is dead.
  • Why denigrate an author? He falls quickly enough, of his own accord if he has no talent.

René VIRARD.
