A few days ago, the Official Journal was nowhere to be found. Fans went to Quai Voltaire and requested a copy. “Impossible,” they were told. With yesterday's finance law, the newspaper today has the thickness of a volume. For eight cents, the administration would ruin itself. So we have orders not to sell... The explanation seemed plausible. But we were not a little surprised to see huge piles of the banned newspaper piled up in the office. Because to save money, the administration had given orders not to sell. But we had printed as usual.
