Major fires ravage Martinique

Fort-de-France, February 17. Yesterday evening, around 7:30 p.m., a fire partially destroyed the commercial district of the town of Lamentin, which is a large factory center. The material damage is considerable.

At the same time, four houses in the village of Saint-Joseph were engulfed in flames. The losses are quite significant. There are no casualties.
